Beacon lighting and Bell Ringing – Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day

It has become something of a tradition in Cottered to commemorate events by lighting a beacon and ringing Cottered Church bells. The 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings will be no exception. Across the country bells will ring out for peace at 6.30. The beacon will be lit at 9.30. The village hall will be open for drinks
